This program has a 15 hour online driver training course and minimum 10 hours behind the wheel, designed for all age groups, novice drivers who have just passed their knowledge test i.e Class-7 GDL holders. These are also very helpful for Class-5 GDL holders who want to pass their advance road test. Arshad has been driving for 30 years and started driver training professionally in 2015 in Calgary with AMA as a contractor instructor. He has been working with Calgary Transit last 15 years as a LRT operator. Arshad holing class-1 driver license for many years now.
We are very pleased to have Arshad as part of our company. You can rest assured that Arshad's 8 years of extensive driver's training history, experience and knowledge will be a great benefit to all students. He completed the graduation from The University of Panjub in India.
Arshad found one of his biggest teaching strategies is creating a friendly environment for the students to learn in. He found this helps them feel comfortable right away. When teaching one-on-one driving techniques, he cover all points and ask a lot of questions along the way to ensure the student understands everything.
Olena Sokolova is an in-car driver instructor approved by the Alberta Transportation. She moved in Canada in 2009 from Ukraine. She used to worked as a teacher and left as vice-principal in Donetsk Ukraine. She has been working with Calgary Transit since 2012 as a transit operator. As a transit operator she has a great passion for driving and safety. Olena has completed her bachelors in arts (English and German) in pedagogical university in Ukraine.
Olena found being friendly and creating a close relationship with each student allows for open discussions where they can ask questions freely, in turn helping them to understand their lesson. She always make sure that her students aren't only qualified to get their license but are also defensive and proactive drivers every time they get behind the wheel.
